Fleet Delivery Manager with ref. BH-30428

TXM Recruit have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Delivery Manager on a permanent basis, this is your opportunity to work for one of the UK's leading Train Operating Groups.

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Depot Manager, the Fleet Delivery Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the units into service by ensuring specified standards of quality and safety are achieved to the Customer's satisfaction.

Role Responsibilities:

You will be the go to person when it comes to Train Movements, Materials and any issues with Train Service.
Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders as well as third party stakeholders
Carry out strategic reviews on fleet
Manage/plan different workstreams separate from the day to day running on site
Ensure PGI's are undertaken by the Service Delivery Team to the standards specified in the SMS

Role Requirements:

Rail Depot experience is essential
Overhaul / Refurbishment experience within a Rail environment is essential
Proven background of delivery trains into service is essential
Project Management experience is advantageous
Engineering Apprenticeship to HNC level or a degree with relevant experience
IOSHH or equivalent safety qualification or working towards
Ability to be on call 1 weekend in every 5

Working Week:

Monday - Friday, Days Only
