Job Description

Thorough understanding of the mechanics of materials and FE theory is essential

The ability to perform hand calculations is fundamental. Our client require more than someone to simply operate software tools. 

The ability to step back and analyse a problem is a requirement.


Ideal experience
Structural Analysis of Composite and Metallic structures in F1
Must be able to conduct analyses using classical hand calculation methods or Finite Element methods.
Experience of Abaqus is essential.

Also desirable is experience of any of the following: 
 

• ANSA.
• Laminate Tools Siemens NX Optistruct

Alternative experience

• Structural Analysis of Composite and Metallic structures in Aerospace, Marine or Automotive industries.
