Salary: £30,000 per annum (rising to £32.5K after 6 months)
Hours: 8am-5pm
Is this you?
We are looking for an experienced fabric engineer with proven track record of carrying out maintenance such as painting, decorating and basic plumbing
You will flexible, willing to help out and capable of putting your hand to most things
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential for this role as well
It would also be highly beneficial if you have experience with fire doors, however there will be training if not
- A relevant City & Guilds qualification, such as level 2 plumbing
- Experience working on commercial maintenance contracts
- Good communication skills
- IT Literate
- Full UK Drivers licence
Overview of role and benefits
You will be covering London and the Home Counties, carrying out various maintenance task, including painting/decorating, tiling, plastering, general building/fabric maintenance, basic plumbing and electrical, basic handyman skills, replacing locks, paving, minor roofing/guttering and a willingness to assist other specialist skilled trades.
You will also be quoting and generating work by highlighting any additional work that needs doing on site
- Salary of £32,500 per annum after satisfactory completion of 6 month probation

This is a successful, family run business that specialises in the block management sector, providing a range of services including fire defence, electrical, mechanical and general maintenance.
Due to increased work load they are now looking for a general maintenance engineer to add to the team
