TXM are partnering up with a global FMCG company on their search for a new Health, Safety and Environmental Manger to aid in the transformation of a flagship high-volume production sites. This business is continuing to invest and expand the site to support customer demand. The site this role sits on has manged to reduce its carbon footprint by 70% over the last 10 years.
Responsibilities of the role:
- You will be responsible for making sure that all Health, Safety and environment policies and procedures adhere to the most up to date standards and regulations. Making sure all policies and procedures are followed by the on-site teams.
- You will need to define the standards for the health and safety and then at the same time push continuous improvements projects to boost performance.
- You will be involved in the risk reduction for site. Employing policies and procedures that aim to significantly reduce risk.
- Another task you will have to do is to support and develop the performance of individual team members utilising performance management tools and techniques.
- Health and safety qualifications to a senior level.
- Over a 3 years experiences in the health, safety and environmental field.
- Experiences of leadership and managerial roles.
- Experiences within a high volume environment
