Responsibilities:
- Mentoring EUC Engineers in the team
- Provide 2nd & 3rd line desktop computing support and problem management in a technical and organisationally complex environment
- Point of contact for any complex IT support queries which required escalation
- Evaluate business requests and approve/reject as appropriate
- Lead and be involved in desktop and infrastructure projects and service improvement activities across the business
- Work closely with external service and support providers as required
- Travel to multiple sites within the UK, COVID permitting
- Prior SCCM experience is essential
- ITIL qualification is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with business managers
- Prior experience providing 2nd line EUC systems support for a large organisation
- Wintel Hardware- PC Management/build automation Windows 10 knowledge
- Prior experience using Microsoft Back Office Systems
- AV- End Point Protection- managing vulnerabilities (McAfee)
- Experienced in supporting a complex environment of desktops and business applications
- Sound knowledge of project management practices
