Electrician with ref. BH-26149

TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project in North London. They are looking for experienced Electricians to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team.

We are looking for a team of Electricians who are construction biased to carry out maintenance routines unsupervised, diagnose and repair faults on electrical building services, electrical switch gear, domestic and industrial installations.

This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday 8am – 5pm. Occasional out of hours extra works is required, which will be paid at an overtime rate
Qualifications, knowledge and experience

Awareness of risk assessment and working safely with electronic test equipment
Ability to follow work instructions, read/ interpret technical diagrams and report technical information as required
Electrical fault finding & rectification skills
City & Guilds Level III or an ONC is a minimum requirement
18th Edition Qualified
JIB Gold card

£18 - £20 per hour

Operational responsibilities

Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H/S and Environmental regulations
Carry out electrical maintenance, reactive repairs and fault finding
Carry out planned ad minor project electrical works
Complete electrical small works and test sheets to comply with accreditation and statuary requirements
Compliant with all safety related policies and procedures
Cable pulling
Changing halogen lights to LED
Installing Variable speed fuse
Changing halogen lights to LED’s
Basket Conduit
Pulling Cables
Terminations into isolators
Testing experience, qualification desirable
Experience using a mega tester on cables
