Electrical Maintenance Technician Sandiacre with ref.

We have a key engineering client looking for an electrical maintenance technician on a permanent basis based in Sandiacre, Derbyshire.

As an electrical maintenance technician, you will have a salary of £36569 working a mix of mornings, afternoons, and nights. On top of this salary there is a 16% shift allowance for all morning and afternoon shifts worked and a 33% shift allowance for all night shifts worked

As an electrical maintenance technician, the job is maintenance and repair of all site facilities, plant, and equipment. The upkeep of all relevant documentation.

Duties of a maintenance technician would include:

· To maintain documentation such as Job sheets, Service reports, permits to work, risk assessments and any other documentation deemed relevant to Maintenance activities.

· Perform normal maintenance duties when and where necessary and any other duties as apparent or assigned.

· Reports and maintains machinery breakdown / PPM status ref: PIRANA and a handover book, to ensure prompt attention and reduce waste.

· Provide realistic time / cost estimates for completions of specific maintenance tasks.

· To assist in the identification, sourcing, and purchasing of parts and equipment.

Requirements of a maintenance technician would be:

· A time served Maintenance electrician.

· A good knowledge of electrical systems.
