We are looking for an electrician who can carry out maintenance routines unsupervised, diagnose and repair faults on electrical building services, electrical switch gear, domestic and industrial installations.
Hours: 8am – 5pm
Operational responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H/S and Environmental regulations
- Carry out electrical maintenance, reactive repairs and fault finding.
- Carry out planned ad minor project electrical works.
- Complete electrical small works and test sheets to comply with accreditation and statuary requirements.
- Compliant with all safety related policies and procedures
- Cable pulling
- Light changes and relamping
- Installing Variable speed fuse
- Pulling Cables
- Terminations into isolators
- Testing experience, qualification desirable
Qualifications, knowledge, and experience
- Awareness of risk assessment and working safely with commercial electrical components.
- Ability to follow work instructions, read/ interpret technical diagrams and report technical information as required.
- Electrical fault finding & rectification skills.
- City & Guilds Level III or an ONC is a minimum requirement.
- 18th Edition Qualified
