Electrical Design Engineer


Essential
  • Degree in a related subject (BEng, BSc)
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in an engineering product design environment
  • To electrically design products, including 2D detail schematic/wiring drawings, and update existing designs, in conjunction with the mechanical design engineers and supporting the technical author
  • Capable of working with an ERP system (Microsoft NAV or similar) and associated Bills of Materials
  • 2D and 3D CAD (ideally Autodesk Inventor)
  • PLC (ideally IQAN experience) and Canbus control systems
  • AC and DC (<1000v) power systems, generator control or similar
  • Large, low volume product experience
  • Support production with technical enquiries
  • Covid vaccinated (unless medically exempt)
 

Preferred

Rail or off-road product design experience
