If you are an experienced Depot Manager this is an ideal opportunity to join a rapidly expanding Rail company based in Doncaster. They are currently seeking a Depot Manager on a permanent basis as the company continues to expand and grow within the industry.

 

As a Depot Manager you will be on a salary of up to £70000 per annum, working day shift Monday to Friday. This will also include a yearly performance bonus as well as other benefits.

                                                                            

As a Depot Manager you will deliver high quality and timely component refurbishment, modifications, and overhaul services. Manage the Doncaster facility and its safe and efficient output, delivering zero defects and high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.

 

As a Depot Manager your role will include various tasks such as:

· Ensure that SHEQ procedures are implemented and adhered to at the Roberts Road Depot.

· Ensure any documentation (worksheets, release sheets, time sheets, reports, etc) is completed and presented on time to the required quality and sign off.

· Take the lead role in progressing issues specific to the Roberts Road Depot.

· Attend meetings to identify customer needs as necessary and directed by the Line Manager.

· Provide support to our customer base including reasonable travel and overnight stays.

· Contribute to staff training, both internal & external.

· Ensure production paperwork is reviewed for accuracy and completeness.

· Producing production performance reports

· Responsible for Roberts Road efficiency initiatives.

· Attend regular meetings with the customers to ensure needs are identified and issues resolved.

· Work with the Business Development team to identify new business opportunities and to maintain existing customer satisfaction.

· To undertake risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures in line with legislation and rail industry requirements.

· To engage in professional development and networking for the purpose of continuous professional & personal development maintaining and developing personal technical competency

· Involvement in general company activities and other such duties as may be requested by the Line Manager, commensurate with the post.

 

Competencies Required

· BTEC National Certificate HNC in Engineering or European equivalent. (Minimum)

· (IOSH) Health and Safety Qualifications ( or Actively Working Towards)

· Clean Driving license
