As a welcome host you will work three 12 hour shifts between Monday and Saturday and every other Sunday which is a 6-hour shift. Rate for Monday to Saturday is £12.29 pe hour and your Sunday rate would be £18.44
As a Welcome Host your role will include various tasks such as:
· Open/close station building as required to provide customer service support to the local community.
· Meeting and greeting passengers prior to boarding train services
· Welcome customers to West Midlands Trains by being visible and adjacent to the Station Information Desk.
· Ensure that help is provided to passengers needing assistance with luggage.
· To promote and encourage the use of West Midlands Trains services.
· To promote all West Midlands Trains products and services.
· Deal with customers’ needs about giving information and assistance with the Ticketing Vending Machines (TVM transactions).
· Seek out and assist customers with special needs.
· Undertake other reasonable duties as directed by your line manager that are within your personal competence etc.
