TXM are partnering with a global project engineering company who specialise in the design and integrations of warehouse automation & intra-logistics solutions for large retail, FMCG and e-commerce companies. The business has been established for over 50 years, with specific plans for fast growth within Europe and a very strong pipeline of projects they are expanding their Control Systems Engineer team.
As Control Systems Engineer, this is a brilliant opportunity to work on large scale projects with brand-new site builds and expansions. Initially the majority of your projects will be within the UK and more long term you will also contribute to European projects.
You will be operating across the full life cycle of control systems: designing, programming, installing, modifying and commissioning.
Experience required:
- Good understanding of programming, modifications, installing, commissioning, fault finding and debugging of PLCs
- Have worked in an industry or a position that is closely aligned to industrial automation, high volume manufacturing, distribution / fulfilment centres working for example on material handling systems, conveyors, processing equipment, intra-logistics machinery, retrieval and sortation systems etc.
- You will be a fully qualified engineer
