Control Systems Engineer

We are currently partnering with a global company who specialise in warehouse and logistics automation. The business is front-runner within this market, setting the benchmark with new innovations and partnering with some big blue-chip companies. With continued growth they are recruiting for a number of Control Systems Engineers with immediate starts available.

As a Control Systems Engineer, this is a brilliant opportunity to work on European wide projects implementing control systems and automation solutions to companies within a range of industries, for many differing requirements. You will be operating across the full life cycle of control systems: designing, programming, installing, modifying and commissioning.

This is a great opportunity to work within the rapidly growing industrial automation market, with a global company that have doubled revenues in the last 5 years alone, partnering with some of the biggest companies in FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Logistics and Retail

Experience required:

• PLC experience - ideally Siemens packages or Allen Bradley
• Good understanding of programming installing, commissioning, fault finding and debugging of PLCs
• Have worked in an industry or a position that is closely aligned to industrial automation, high volume manufacturing, distribution / fulfilment centres working for example on material handling systems, conveyors, processing equipment, intra-logistics machinery and sortation systems etc.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salaries £40,000-50,000
• Car or car allowance
• 37.5-hour week
• 25 days holiday
• Up to 10% matched pension
• Overtime at x 1.5

Interviews and starts will be available immediately.

This role will involve 50% European travel on site with customers (all travel and accommodation paid for).
