Salary: £38,000-£40,000 (negotiable depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 42.5pw, 8am=5pm
Call out: 1-7 (£100 retainer)
TXM Recruit are recruiting for an experienced commercial gas engineer on behalf of a well-established M&E provider who are looking for someone to cover Suffolk and the wider area due to an internal promotion

If you are a qualified commercial gas engineer with experience on commercial buildings, confident enough to carry out ppm and reactive maintenance autonomously then we want to hear from you!
If you have your LPG and oil, even better!
They need someone who has a good understanding of commercial gas and building services as this could very well lead to a working supervisor position:
- Gas tickets: CCN1, COCN1, CODNCO1 min
- Full UK Drivers licence
The important stuff
Most of their work is outside of London, so you don’t have to worry about the stress of parking and travelling around the city
They have a great management team who all come from technical backgrounds, they can offer support, guidance and understanding

More about the Role
As mentioned, the work will predominantly be in the Suffolk region but there will also be work in East Anglia, Cambridgeshire and occasionally into London
Your focus will be on commercial gas maintenance, small works, and reactive maintenance but you will be expected to do some building services tasks alongside this as and when required
Commercial building such as care homes and offices will form most of your contract
Travel time is 30 min each way and overtime is paid at x1.5 for evenings and Saturdays, x2 for Sundays
Depending on qualifications pay of £17.60-£18.50 PH, as a basic rate but again all depends on qualification.
