Pay Rate: £18 per hour, rising to £20 per hour based on competencies
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:00-16:00 (Flexibility to potentially move to shifts)
Role: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce component parts to precise engineering drawings and specifications, focusing on horizontal machine setting, operating, and programming.
- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform a variety of tasks, including drilling, grinding, milling, and more.
- Ensure all work adheres to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Standards and company policies.
Experience Required:
- Time-served Machine Operator with experience in horizontal boring.
- Proficient in reading and using precision measuring equipment.
- Experience working with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls is essential.
