Contract Duration: 6 months+

Hourly Rate: £15.00 per hour (Ltd Company)

We are looking for CMM operators to join this manufacturing business operating within the Aerospace, Automotive and Motorsport sectors. Based in their state of the art facility, you will be responsible for preparing and operating CMM machines. You will need to understand specifications of the task at hand and have the ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings. You will supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result. You will be responsible for inspection and measurements of finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed correctly. You will also need to have experience of using all conventional inspection equipment, Vernier’s, Height gauges Micrometres’, Dial indicators, Slips, Screw / plug gauges, etc and have a basic knowledge of GD&T.

The successful candidates will have proven experience of CMM Operating/Inspection and be well versed in the use of PC-Dmis. You will be expected to work with great concentration and precision and join the team on a double day shift.
