As a member of the mechanical Inspection Team and reporting to our Inspection Manager, you will be responsible for the quality Inspection of metallic components manufactured in this companies internal Machine Shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out first off, in process and final inspection processes in the Machine Shop
- Detailed inspection of complex components and assemblies to the highest standards
- To work with internal and external suppliers to ensure high quality components are always delivered
- To write CMM programmes using PCDMIS software, using CAD models
- Must be fully conversant with PCDMIS online and offline 2020-2021 programming
- Experience with Romer / Faro arm scanning using Polyworks software is an advantage
- Essential to have a proven track record within manufacturing
- Possess an excellent working knowledge of all inspection activities
- Be fully conversant with GD&T and standard drawing practises
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
