CAD Technician – Civil Engineering

Due to continued success, a market-dominating consultancy have seen an influx of work within the civil engineering discipline within the rail infrastructure market. As a result, they are looking for experienced CAD technicians to join the thriving civils team in Birmingham.

The Birmingham office of this award-winning consultancy is the heart and soul of their rail division, compromising of state-of-the-art facilities as well as experts from all disciplines working collectively on some of the industry’s biggest projects. You can expect to get involved in an array of schemes including station upgrades, ancillary civils, bridge reconstructions and more.

You proven experience and knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM will allow you to fully integrate in to the dedicated civil engineering team, undertaking the production of civil design and amendments according to project requirements.

The ideal candidate can expect a salary of £25k-£30k plus package including pension, holidays and healthcare.

Requirements:

• HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant CAD discipline
• Proficient experience of AutoCAD and BIM
• Experience of civil engineering design – preferably rail
