Location: Crayford, with regular London site visits
Are you an experienced CAD Designer looking to take on a challenging and rewarding role in architectural finishes and bespoke design? We are working with a client at the forefront of high-end interior lift finishes for landmark projects, delivering exceptional quality for prestigious contractors and architects.
This exciting opportunity is a blend of design (60%) and project management (40%), with unlimited progression potential for a driven and ambitious professional.
About the Role:
You will collaborate closely with fabrication teams to ensure innovative solutions meet demanding quality standards. Regular London site visits ensure this is far from a desk-bound position, offering diverse and dynamic responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver your own CAD workload.
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to resolve key design challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and architects.
- Conduct site surveys and liaise with installation teams.
- Oversee project planning, resource management, and labour coordination.
- Report directly to the Design Manager and Director.
- Knowledge of the Vertical Transportation (Lifts & Escalators) industry is a plus (training can be provided).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Fusion360.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
- Strong design sensibility with the ability to translate concepts into practical, buildable projects.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
