CAD Design Engineer

Have you got experience of rolling stock CAD Design using solid edge? TXM are looking for two experienced CAD Design Engineer’s on an initial 3-month contract with a view of extension for the foreseeable if things go well!

Contract Rate: £35 - £39 ltd per hour (outside of IR35) dependent on experience.

Location: West Midlands.

CAD Design Engineer Job Description:

• Using Solid Edge CAD software support the engineering department in the production of   models & drawings.
• Help develop engineering solutions with guidance from the engineering team.
• Take designs from concept stages through to full manufacturing and installation drawings.
• Create 3D designs based on 2D electrical layouts, equipment and wiring information.
• Assist in the conveyance of the design intent to the workshop floor through reviews/workshops and one-on-one guidance.
• Liaise with suppliers where necessary to develop working solutions capable of manufacture.
