Summary
Due to continued growth, we are looking working closely with this Automotive/Motorsport/Aviation business to recruit a Buyer with an Electronics bias towork as part of the Team to ensure on-time delivery, right first time and cost control.
Main responsibilities
- Procurement of materials from approved suppliers based on SAP ERP demands; often to tight deadlines and ensuring BOM costings are maintained.
- Assisting Engineers with procurement of project materials
- Effectively management of suppliers assisting with evaluating the performance & highlighting continuous improvement.
- Working closely with External and Internal Manufacturing, Planning and logistics
Skills
- Experience within Electronics focused procurement is essential
- Demonstrable strong commercial judgement
- Degree qualified and/or Member of CIPs would be preferred but not erssential
- SAP Knowledge would be highly advantageous
