£25.00 per hour (Mon–Fri) | £28.75 per hour (Weekends)
4-on / 4-off shift rotation | 5:00AM – 5:00PM
We’re hiring a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at a well-established bus depot in the Oxfordshire area. This is a permanent role offering excellent pay, regular overtime, and a stable shift pattern.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct mechanical servicing, repairs, and inspections on a fleet of buses
- Handle chassis repairs, brake changes, oil servicing, air system replacements, and more
- Perform basic electrical diagnostics (plug-and-play level)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance
- Experience in HGV, PSV, or light vehicle servicing
- Strong mechanical skills with basic electrical understanding
- Flexible to work weekends (10% uplift in pay)
- 4-on / 4-off rotation (days only)
- Overtime paid at flat rate
- Permanent contract with full company benefits (pension, bus pass, discounts portal, etc.)
- 28 days holiday (20 + 8 statutory)
