Technical Trainer TXM Recruit are currently working with a Train Operating Company in the West Midlands to recruit a Technical Trainer who will be responsible for the delivery of training to technical staff for Projects, New Fleet and Modifications. Technical Trainer Responsibilities Reports to the Training and Development Manager and the Production Delivery Manager. Ensure site safety in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act, appropriate legislation and regulations Identify areas for improvement by personal checks, audits, finished work inspections, periodic checks, risk assessments, area walk rounds. Monitor the fleet whilst on Depot and liaise with colleagues located at Outstations or in Control to include monitoring faults and failures to identify training needs. Contribute to the development of the fleet in terms of reliability and improvements to the train environment by making proposals to improve these areas. Technical Trainer Requirements: Experienced in Railway Vehicle Fault finding Experienced in delivering Training Experienced in Human Resource procedures Man-management experience and formal training, including a sound technical knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems. ONC / HNC trained or Railway Apprentice trained SCWR assessed in Rail Vehicle Maintenance Car and Small Van driving Licence PTS and DP certified RSSB Human Factors and Risk Based Analysis Trained Recognised qualifications in an engineering discipline Recognised Training Qualification at level 3 Minimum with Assessor Units Reward Competitive salary Free standard travel on network 75% discount on all other train operating companies over most of the UK rail network. TXM Recruit are looking for a (Electrical) Design Quality Engineer based in North France for the global leader of railway vehicle manufacturing. YOUR ROLE Part of the Electrical, wiring and interconnected systems team, you will responsible to improve the reliability and quality of Electricals deliveries by actively collecting feedback data. You will have a global responsibility for Design Quality Assurance activities in Electricals. You will be Working globally and supporting engineering to deliver right first time. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure that the engineering processes and design related processes are followed properly (i.e. Configuration Management, Validation and Verification process, ...); Support engineering that the resulting (critical) deliverables fulfil the requirements, including lessons learnt; Monitor the related performance KPI’s, and highlight any risk of issue to the organization and management; Partner with Vehicle Engineering in various activities, such as Gate Reviews, problem solving 8D (Root Cause Analysis), FMEA, lessons learnt documentation and usage; Secure conformity with Quality norms and standards, such as EN 50128, ISO 9001, IRIS, etc; Create and implement a reviews & inspection process culture within EWIS, as well as verification of process adherence. QUALIFICIATIONS Bachelor degree preferably in Electrical Engineering; Up to 5 years of experience in the field of electrical engineering in railway industry or similar industries (e.g. automotive); Experience in areas such as Systems Engineering, Concept Design and Architecture, Requirement Management, Functional Analysis, Testing and Commissioning; Experience in process development & assessments, Design Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, FMEA Knowledge related to the production of electrical panels, cabinets, wiring harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies; Knowledge or experience in electrical product development from bid to product introduction (through all project delivery phases) would be an asset; Capability to work in an international environment and in multi-cultural teams; Solid user experience of MS office; Fluency in English is essential; Availability to travel for business purposes.

Job description Are you looking to work on some of the rail industy's most exciting projects? TXM are working with the largest global manufacturer of rail vehicles to recruit a Safety & Reliability Engineer. The primary purpose of this role is the conducting of analysis to enable the reliability and safety assurance for UK projects to ensure acceptable levels of vehicle safety and reliability The role is to ensure that safety and reliability is managed during project phases up until the point of service introduction of the product following approval by the respective approval authorities. The role requires the conducting of product safety and reliability management activities undertaken to ensure that, within timescale and budget constraints, products are demonstrably reliable and safe by design and build, and that all necessary customer and regulatory body safety/reliability related endorsements are obtained for passenger service operation. Your tasks Maintenance of a detailed robust plan and budget for the work undertaken Performance of reliability and safety assessment activities associated with the defined role to achieve the timely substantiation of the designs to enable them to enter passenger service. Support the development and production of National or European standards and processes for the management of reliability and safety to ensure that the future development of Company objectives and activities are appropriately aligned and acceptable. Provide a source of expertise and advice to other members of the Product Safety and Reliability Dept. and the project in relation to project safety and reliability matters Qualifications Technical domain experience essential, System Integration experience essential, System Architectural understanding essential. An in depth knowledge and experience of fault analysis techniques, processes and tools. Significant experience and hands on delivery of the design, analysis, development, testing and delivery of engineering solutions that solve complex requirements. Provide cost and schedule estimates on complicated engineering programs. Be able to demonstrate the ability to use this technical knowledge in the support of other departments (engineering, production, procurement, projects) and the development of less experienced engineering personnel. Knowledge of safety approval processes and regulatory requirements and a experience of delivering against these.
