Shift Manager c£50k base + shift premiums + significant benefits package (36 days holiday, car lease scheme) Location: Northampton Driving productivity, efficiency and quality at this global leader in automotive and motorsport technology you will use your extensive operational management experience to uphold a culture of excellence. With a particular focus on manufacturing you will also take accountability for the assembly, build and test departments during evening, night and weekend shifts to ensure consistency across the 24/7 operation. This role is not for the faint hearted; it will involve difficult decisions, complete flexibility and you will be responsible for establishing the culture, changing behaviours and identifying opportunity to improve. However, in return you will be working in a state of the art facility, working on a world’s first project with some of the most skilled engineers in the industry. Candidate You will bring with you a developed skillset and capability to lead diverse teams. Previously you will have held operational responsibility as Shift Manager and demonstrated significant improvements holding accountability for people, process, output and health and safety. Ideally having experience within the automotive manufacturing or assembly environment you will know how to maximise output, and get the best out of people. You will have familiarity with the challenges in this environment and have deft decision making. It goes without saying that your communication and relationship building skills will be exemplary and you will be operating in an environment whereby you are empowered to act autonomously. There are 2 positions available across both evening and night shifts with premiums attached and overall a significant package working at the forefront of performance automotive technology.

Role: Mechanical Estimator Reports to: Managing Director Based From: Northampton Office Role: This is a hands-on role with a responsibility for the production of mechanical tenders for both predesigned and design & construct projects. The role is to breakdown client enquiries, organise or complete the required surveys and prepare detailed Mechanical estimates, tenders and quotations to ensure that opportunities are being accurately estimated competitively, successfully and profitably. You will support the Business in client meetings and estimation/tender presentations to help secure tendered opportunities. Using relevant industry experience, you will be expected to help develop and refine the estimation process to improve efficiency, clarity, and accuracy while reducing overall costs. Desired Skills & Experience: The role requires a solid understanding of Mechanical estimating and previous experience in the construction industry, ideally as an estimator in a similar role. Established background in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Project & Bid Management Understand and interpret detailed Technical Works Scope documentation Identify, quantify and mitigate areas of commercial risk The ability to plan workload for themselves with others to ensure delivery to client deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the internal and external client Package includes: The role includes a competitive salary of between £30 and £35k (dependent upon experience). We'll provide travel expenses (where appropriate), 20 days holiday (+8 days public holidays), Optional “Well Being” and occupational health programmes, and Pension Scheme with 3% employer contribution.
