Operations Project Delivery Manager Responsibilities: Managing multiple workstreams and projects from an internal perspective looking at organisational readiness for the delivery of new trains to a variety of train operators. Manage workstream project plans, establish appropriate project governance and progress through high level reviews/steering groups and report regular weekly progress meetings. Identify potential slippage and corrective actions to then integrate in the workstream plans and overall corporate plan. Operations Project Delivery Manager Experience: Ideally railway experience but would consider manufacturing, automotive or aerospace. Will have 5-10 years’ experience and worked within a service environment, delivering projects against of “service first”. Multimillion pound project experience. APM or Prince2 qualified with practical implementation experience. Energetic, engaging, personable, ability to bring people together in a matrix environment. An international designer and manufacturer of complex components and systems for the aerospace industry are actively looking for a number of experienced Mechanical Fitters to fill permanent roles. Successful candidates will be responsible for the repair, testing, rebuilding and fitting of a range of complex hydraulic equipment such as pumps, valves and actuators. As a Mechanical Fitter you will help the company to achieve turn around times on key civil and military contracts. Assist with engineers and team to improve quality, cost and delivery targets. Be a team player, able to work under own initiative and flexible to changing demands. Mechanical Fitter candidates will ideally possess the following: City and Guilds/National certificate in an engineering discipline. BTEC Level 2/3 in an engineering discipline. Or Equivalent Time Spent & Expertise Gained in a similar environment. Enthusiastic, ambitious and self-motivated individuals required for a Meter Reading position (Full training given) with one the UK’s largest and most respected Utilities contractors. As a Meter reader your main responsibilities will be to carry out readings as well as safety checks on both Gas and Electric Meters. You may have worked in customer services, delivery driving, gardening or may have been a postman/postwoman, but most importantly will have a great attitude, and don’t mind working outdoors. Working 37.5 hours per week you will be paid £7.90 per hour and will need your own vehicle for which you will be paid 25p per mile. On top of this is there is a generous bonus system in place where you can add bonus onto your weekly earnings. The company are a large utility contractor that look after and treat their staff well after 6 months the meter reader could be offered a Permanent position and may even have the chance of being progressed through to a meter installer amongst other internal opportunities. Due to the nature of the role you will need to pass a basic DBS check (at a cost of £25) whilst also being able to supply a 5-year work history. Buyer Watford £37,000- 39,000 plus benefits Permanent TXM Recruit have an excellent career opportunity for a Buyer / Procurement professional to join a long-established pharmaceuticals company who continue to grow through an agile business model. As the Buyer you will play a lead role alongside the Head of Supply Chain in improving the strategy for sourcing of raw materials, chemicals and packaging; whereby you will review and define the supplier list and implement reductions of: cost; supplier numbers; and sourcing lead times. As Buyer you will play a cross-functional role to support the Production and Planning departments through the delivery of a sourcing strategy that will help achieve cost effective production that meets deadlines. At the same time a key relationship will be to work with quality assurance and senior management to ensure all suppliers are risk assessed and that quality assurance of products and services are achieved. Key areas of responsibility: Manage the approved supplier process Review company costing structures and monitor commodity pricing- implementing plans that will reduce the risk around price fluctuations Risk assess supplier routes to minimise the risk of delays and stock shortages.
