CNC Turner Shift rotation Northamptonshire Operating at the pinnacle of manufacturing technology for this global leader and world champion in the motorsport environment we are looking for a CNC Turner during a period of significant investment. As a precision CNC Turner Setter, Operator your experience within fine tolerance machining will see you succeed in the operation of turning centres to produce engineered components within tight timescales. Ideally with some programme editing experience in FANUC you will have the capability to make adjustments and prove out. Candidate Time served you will bring your CNC turning skills and precision machining capability with experience across the Motorsport, F1, automotive or aerospace environments. The nature of delivering in line with the Motorsport schedule creates a unique working environment that suits naturally competitive individuals who contribute within their engineering specialism. Individuals are empowered to act autonomously, ensuring accountability and ownership for the task in hand. You’ll be expected to deliver a ‘right first time’ solution; taking into account performance, obsolescence, cost and other key programme metrics. There is a culture within the team of trust, but you are expected to deliver in return. Ideally you will be able to offer flexibility to move to a shift pattern during the duration of the contract. Position CNC Turner Location Northampton Length Perm Contract Salary £13 - £19 per hour dependant on experience Company Description and brief details Our clients provide high quality precision machined parts for the Aerospace, Medical and Motorsport industries and due to our clients continued growth are looking for an experienced CNC Turner. Candidate Description Applicants should have experience of setting and operating and programming CNC lathes, preferably using Fanuc and Siemens controls mainly machining F1 and Motorsport parts and the role will also involve process inspection. Key skills & responsibilities Setting Traub lathes High Precision machining Working to close tolerances on a variety of materials to engineering drawings.
