Production Technicians that work to our exacting standards are not easy to find. That’s why we are interested in training people.
To support you on your career path to becoming a fully trained production technician, your first step will be to complete a 12 month paid (£15,500 a year) composite training programme delivered in partnership with TXM Recruit, our training & recruitment partner.
This will allow you to earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised NVQ Level 2 in composite engineering.

You will receive:

Training on how to process carbon fibre composites and trimming components, which will become transferable skills that can be applied across a number of industries

Additional theory based learning

Training on industry standard equipment

Training on how to read engineering drawings

Improved communication and employment skills

Q) Who are TXM Recruit?
A) TXM Recruit are a specialist recruitment consultancy with a proactive, dynamic approach to permanent and temporary recruitment solutions within the aerospace, automotive, built environment, defence, rail, IT & technology, general engineering, oil and gas and turnkey projects industries.

Q) Where will the training take place?
A) All training will be completed “on the job” at our advanced composite centre in Milton Keynes

Q) Will I be paid whilst training?
A) Yes, you will be paid an annual remuneration of £15,500 per year, paid monthly.

Q) Who will be my employer?
A) During your initial 12 month training, you will be employed by TXM Recruit on a full time contract of employment.

Q) How long is the position for?
A) You will be employed initially on a 12 month basis with a view to extending this period upon successful completion of your training.

Q) Is this a Full Time position?
A) Yes it is, you will be based five days a week onsite at our advanced composite centre in Milton Keynes.

Q) What happens once I’ve applied?
A) Once you have completed the online application form  you will receive a confirmation that your application has been processed and we will make contact with you within seven working days to confirm the status of your application.

Q) What happens if my application is successful?
A) Successful applicants will be invited to attend one of our assessment centre days in Milton Keynes where you will have the opportunity to tour our facility and take part in a series of practical based assessments.

Q) If I’m selected from the assessment centre what happens next?
A) Selected applicants from our assessment centre days will then be provided with a formal offer and proposed start date depending on availability.
