TXM Recruit are looking for a Maintenance Design Engineer working within the rolling stock sector. The salary on offer is up to £50,000 plus very good company benefits and a progressive career.
Maintenance Design Engineer Responsibilities:
" Provide maintenance planning support from conceptual design through to operational implementation.
" Ensure that design for maintenance targets are developed and incorporated into the RAMS plan and system design specifications
" Assist in the development of maintenance plans and design
" Undertake review of train system performance, previous design requirements and performance of the maintenance plan to yield targeted maintenance solutions for future builds
Maintenance Design Engineer Requirements:
" Experience of delivering engineering support working within a maintenance team in a rolling stock maintenance depot environment
" Competent in spare parts and logistics planning on a whole fleet basis
" Extensive experience of modern maintenance management systems (MMS) and associated reliability and availability trend analysis
" Experience of undertaking reliability improvement and modification programs whilst minimizing the impact on the maintenance schedule and fleet availability
" Practical understanding of FRACAS
" Rolling stock test, approvals and commissioning experience preferably gained from previous introduction of a modern rolling stock fleet.
" Degree, HND or substantial railway experience
" Experience of developing / introducing new asset maintenance management systems on UK rolling stock
