Welding Engineer- Quality & Inspection- Shipbuilding

We are searching for an experienced Welding Engineer to focus on Quality Assurance responsibilities and objectives within the department.
You will be joining a globally recognised company within the shipbuilding industry who are highly regarded as a true market leader in their areas of specialism.

Duties and Responsibilities:
" The focus of this role is to be responsible for welding processes, inspections and testing per guidelines.
" Supervising the manufacturing as per the quality control procedures.
" Establish and monitor quality assurance documentation alongside the design department.
" Creating welding sequence plans and inspection instructions.
" Review documentation and inspection reports of the welded work.
" Organising the training and scheduling of welding employees for the welding examinations. Overseeing certifications.
" Completion of technical studies.
" Possess a certificate of additional training as an international welding engineer.
" Experience in quality assurance/control and risk management.
" Open to international business travel.
" A good command of English and German would be desirable.
