An exciting opportunity has just arisen within the Milton Keynes area for engineers within the electrical trade. We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to work for a growing family owned electrical contractors.
The main purpose of the role will be to assist the current project manager on the growing portfolio of projects they are obtaining. You will be learning the process of project management from winning business, providing estimations, installation and completion of the project.
Candidates looking to apply for this role will need to have previous experience within a commercial/industrial electrical role, and ideally some basic understanding/experience dealing with the project management process would be desirable.
This role will be 2/3 office based and 1/3 in the field, therefore applicants need to be happy to take a step down off the tools and will need to be local to the Milton Keynes area. Typical working hours will be 8am-5:30pm daily, however a fair amount of flexibility is required due to the nature of the role. Projects do tend to be within the local area of Milton Keynes, however occasionally some short term stay away from home will be required, therefore candidates must be flexible with this also.
Successful candidates for this role will be paid a salary of up to £45,000 dependent on skills and experience. You must be able to drive for this role and have no more than six points on your licence, this is because a van and fuel card is provided.
